We visited during the Carnaval celebrations in Progreso. It was a hot Sunday afternoon and we needed to hail an Uber back to Merida. The staff at Restaurante Los Cocos II allowed us to sit inside to get out of the heat and wait for our ride. We ordered drinks while waiting. My son was celebrating his 18th birthday and had his 1st 2 shots of tequila here. I ordered a traditional margarita. Service was excellent. I can't speak to the food since we didn't order any, but we are very appreciative to the staff and our server for allowing us to wait for our Uber in their restaurant.

Excellent experience, ambiance and food. We ordered a kilo of boquinete for the table and our son had pollo empanizado. The waiter brought out the different fish for us to see bc although we’re bilingual we didn’t know several. The fish came with tortillas and little plates of garnishes. So crisp and tasty. We definitely recommend.

Good food, large portions, okay prices. The service was not professional, however the waiter was always very responsive. We'll go back if we are in the area.

Excellent service. !! Very friendly, great food, great atmosphere.. waitress Axza (not sure of the spelling of her name)was excellent loved her humor.. ate there every day, breakfast, lunch , dinner
